True "Student-Athletes" at FSU

Our team just earned one of our best-ever team GPAs with a 3.546 team average this Spring!  7 players earned perfect 4.0s - Melanie Bell, Rhi Lapen, Jessi Martz, Haley Dalphon, Gwen Schemm, Rylee Learn, and Emily Rhinaman.  Another 6 players earned only one "B" grade for the semester - Kourtney McLain, AJ Malanik, Katie Broadhurst, Dani Ferris, Anais Ventura, and Kelly Richards.  That means those 13 players, over half of our team, earned 56 "A" class grades against only 6 "B"s.  21 of our 22 Spring season players earned a 3.0 or better.

Our women's soccer players are outstanding students that are highly committed to their studies and have all the options they could want with a college degree. Very proud of our team!

Relay for Life and Alumni Game

FSUWS raised over $1100 for cancer research and patient care at the 2017 FSU Relay for Life event this past Friday night.   On Saturday, a terrific alumni group of players visited FSU for our annual Alumni game.  Goals by Nikki Rieland and Brooke Longo were not enough to overcome the spirited current FSU team who prevailed in the game 5-2.   A great weekend to support a meaningful fundraiser and celebrate our women's soccer graduates.
