What a Year!

Our Senior Class had a busy 2021.  Playing a covid shortened Spring season and then our first full Fall season since 2019.   Not sure we will ever again have an opportunity to win 2 regular-season titles in one calendar year!  An unprecedented and history year.

Homecoming and the Hall of Fame!

We've had a good run of form and have stayed atop the MEC North table.   Homecoming was especially important for us this year as Amy Foote became only the 2nd FSUWS player to enter the FSU Athletics Hall of Fame!  Congrats Amy!  Here she is with our current Senior Class on a visit to our team room on the evening of her induction.

Good Start to MEC Play

After a tough home loss to Concord, we’ve won 2 games on the road to secure 6 points in the MEC conference standings.  These first round games against our North Division opponents help really set the stage for an exciting conference season.   2 big home games coming up!

We split this weekend in our first-ever D2 in the DMV Tournament in Leesburg, VA winning on Friday vs Shippensburg and dropping a 1-goal game with Kutztown on Sunday.   These great competitive games will prepare us for the MEC Conference season that starts next weekend.   Here we go!

What a Year!

So proud of all our players and what this team has accomplished. Just a huge step forward for our program.  Finished 2nd in the MEC and hosted an MEC Semifinal game, Nationally Ranked as high as #15, allowed only 5 goals in 9 games and only 1 in our final 5 games of the 20-21 season.  Junior Audra Curtin led our team in scoring and was named the FSU Female Athlete of the Year!

We are so grateful for the opportunity to play a competitive season this spring and need to thank so many who made it happen.  Our Frostburg State President and Athletic Director, the FSU Sports Information staff, and all our hard working Athletic Trainers, especially Hillary Jones.  So many at the MEC and on all our conference campuses that kept us playing and playing safely this year  THANK YOU!

A Great Spring Start!

We've had a great start to our Spring season going 2-0-1 in our group of 4 teams and so jump into first place after the first round of games.  No doubt we've surprised some people but our players have worked hard and have earned this good start.  More important games to go but we are thrilled to be playing a competitive schedule and showing how our hard work this Fall and winter has paid off!

Spring Games!

We so excited to be playing a competitive conference schedule this spring to start February 28th.   The MEC has determined a conference only schedule for us in a regional group of 4 teams and we will have a conference tournament in April.

What a Year!

2020 will be one of the most memorable years in recent history!  We've been reminded often in 2020 how our behaviors and beliefs affect so many around us.  Here at FSUWS, our focus is pretty straightforward - to guide our players throughout their higher education and deliver a memorable and rewarding college soccer experience.  The most important measure of our success is the academic achievement of our players.  In spite of all the challenges this year presented, they achieved with flying colors!

Our team earned a 3.64 Team GPA this Fall semester with 11 students earning a perfect 4.0!  We are so proud of the commitment to academic achievement shown by our team.  They are amazing young people that are a credit to their families, our institution, and our team.

Congratulations to these FSUWS students earning a 4.0 in Fall 2020:
