Senior Day Highlights - Oct 2020

We've been playing intersquad scrimmages every Saturday this Fall following all the prescribed NCAA protocols.  Our players continue to grow and develop and have become great teammates. Our last Saturday Scrimmage is Oct 24th at 1pm. #WeWillBeReady

Another Great Fall Day for Soccer at FSU!

We played our 5th intersquad scrimmage of the Fall on Saturday and it was the best game yet! In spite of all the challenges that 2020 has presented, our players are growing and developing and we have become a great team. Our players, like so many around the country this year, deserve tons of credit for keeping their focus and discipline and positive outlook.

Another Beautiful Day for Soccer!

So Thankful and Grateful for all the work done by Frostburg State and our Athletic Department to keep us playing this Fall!  We've been mixing our team on Saturdays for competitive intersquad scrimmages this Fall and have had some great games.

A Beautiful Day for Soccer!

One of our favorite pictures of 2020!  What a beautiful day for soccer at FSU on our first day to train our team this Fall.  We want to extend thanks to everyone involved at Frostburg State for making this Fall semester and season a reality - especially our University and Athletic Dept leadership, our medical staff, Student Affairs, Residence Life, maintenance crews, and of course our players and families.

2020 Twists and Turns

We will not be having the season we expected this Fall but we will have plenty of opportunities to grow and learn and be great teammates.  The challenges presented in this year of 2020 have been extraordinary. Our players are really excited to get outside and get training this week in our new Underarmour gear!

Fall 2020 Plans!

Our new D2 conference, the Mt. East, is working hard to find a way for us to have a Fall season as safely as possible.  The current plan (July 21) will have us playing 9 games this season starting Oct 4th.  So, we'll start classes on August 17th, then preseason on Sept 14th and have games in October and November.
We are very hopeful that we can start our semester safely and still train and play games this Fall.

2020 will be quite a year

Well, 2020 has been quite a year so far and at this writing, it's still only March!  Of course, FSU has transitioned to on-line learning as Maryland and the US have adjusted to the health crisis facing the world.  But - We Will Play Again!  Our FSUWS journey will continue at some point soon.

Feel free to stay in touch with our coaches and staff at any time with questions or concerns about FSU and FSU Women's Soccer.

Our Winter "Indoor" Season at FSU

Our Spring semester start is usually accompanied by some cold weather and so great to ski and snowboard!  It also means we just have to take our fun indoors!   We can play in a legitimate futsal league now with the new d2 playing rules but also do much more this time of year to serve the community.  Our players help with a Santa's Workshop in Frostburg City, run a Quidditch game for a Harry Potter Night for local kids, and do a soccer clinic for our Girls in Sports Day at FSU.   Great fun in our little college town of Frostburg!
