An All-American!

Gwen Schemm has a 4.0 and done about everything possible at FSU including running the school Newspaper, The Bottom Line.

She's been rewarded by being named a 2019 Academic All-American by CoSida!  She is the 8th FSU Women's Soccer player to earn the honor but 1st in the Division 2 era.   Congrats Gwen!

Super Seniors!

What a great Senior Day Celebration!  These terrific students have been wonderful representatives of our soccer program and FSU throughout their careers.  They will be fantastic alumni and great at wherever life takes them beyond FSU.  Good Luck in the next Chapter of your journey.  You will always be welcome at the 'burg!  #AlwaysaBobcat

Safe at Home

We have certainly enjoyed our home field advantage in 2019.  We've gotten good results in some away games but have certainly scored a lot and enjoyed defending our home turf at Bobcat Stadium so far this year.  In a somewhat up and down season, we're hoping to get some more consistent results in the 2nd half of our conference schedule.
Senior Day is October 26th!

25 Year Celebration

Frostburg State recognized the 25 Year History of FSU Women's Soccer at the 2019 Hall of Fame Induction ceremony.  It was an honor for our current players to participate and hear first-hand the wonderful contributions made by this year's Hall of Fame class.

Great Home Start to MEC Play!

Wednesday night we opened play in our new conference, the Mountain East, with a 6-2 win.  Brooke Shehade had a hat-trick and Audra Curtin added 2 in a solid home performance.  Our first win in NCAA Division 2 and we hope many more to come.

Great Florida Trip!

We had a great trip to Florida this weekend for a game at Eckerd College in St. Petersburg Beach.  We stayed at a beach front hotel and all our travel logistics went well.   We didn't get the result we wanted but the game was competitive and we scored a terrific goal.  It's on our IG page and linked on twitter as well.

A Great Start to 2019!

We've had a great start to our 2019 season!  In our first competitive action of 2019, we defeated a spirited Hood College team 4-1 as Senior Brooke Shehade scored a brace and first-year's Marley Copes and Anna Moyer each added a goal.   Classes begin this week and we'll visit Cal U in PA next Friday night for our second game of the preseason.

Bobcats.....for Life!

It really is true that once you've worn the jersey and certainly, when you graduate, you'll be a Bobcat for Life.   We had a great finish to our Spring semester as we had 5 players earn Bachelor's Degrees, an assistant coach, Jen Nance earned a Masters, and a recent alum, Cassie Donahue, earned a Doctorate!  Rising Senior, Gwen Schemm, was also named the FSU Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year. #SmartWomenRock

Happy Seniors!

Alumni Game and Relay

This is a wonderful and meaningful weekend to finish our Spring season here at FSU!   On Friday night our team was once again the top fundraising team at FSU, adding nearly $3,000 to the FSU Relay for Life total for the signature American Cancer Society fundraising event.   On Saturday, perhaps our best collection of FSUWS graduates visited Bobcat stadium for our annual Alumni Game and weekend. There was some debate on the goal count with the Alumni team claiming a 1-0 victory while the current team insists it was a 1-1 draw!   Can't wait for next year's game.
