Defining a "good year".....

Whenever asked if we had a "good season" or good year here at FSU, I often answer that I have to wait until grades come out in May!
Not only did our team achieve on the field this year (at 16-2-4, our best won-loss record in history and the best defensive team ever at FSU), they also proved to be intelligent and conscientious students. Our team achieved a 3.2 GPA for the year which will once again qualify our program to receive the NSCAA Team Academic Award for their work in the classroom. Several of our players earned perfect 4.0's in either the fall or spring semester and are role models to other student-athletes in the program and in our department.
Congratulations!

Congratulations Seniors!

After Saturday's commencement ceremony on campus, we'd like to congratulate our 3 women's soccer seniors! Tricia Richardson will soon enter physical therapy school and both Jackie Donovan and Tori Walter will pursue their MBA's here at FSU. Jackie will also serve as the program's newest Graduate Assistant coach.
Congrats and Good Luck Seniors!

First Post!

This is the first "test post" of our new blog. The intention is to give those interested in following FSU Women's Soccer a chance to hear about what's happening in our program first hand. What you'll find here mostly will be the coaches comments about games and about news in our program and athletic department. Hope you'll check in now and then and we will always welcome comments and ways to improve this blog. Thanks.
