• Best Record in Program History .864 (Tied for Most Season Wins at 18)
• Won our 3rd Consecutive Regular Season Title
• Won 10 consecutive games to start the season
• Qualified for the D2 NCAA Tournament in our first year eligible
  
• Earned United Soccer Coaches National and Regional Rankings
• Had 7 Players Honored with All-Conference Awards
• Abbey Dennis became our 2nd United Soccer Coaches All-American and First-Ever Double All-American (Soccer and Scholar All-American)
• Awarded the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 15th consecutive year
• Awarded the United Soccer Coaches Team Ethics Award for the 15th consecutive year (Gold Level)
• FSU players earned a 2021-22 annual team GPA of 3.732

 As we finish up one of our best regular-seasons in our history, it's important to slow down and realize what a wonderful time of year it is.

Senior Day 2022!

We are doing great in our MEC Conference Division and hope to be able to host some games here at FSU in  our conference Tournament.  Several big games are coming up! We had a great but pretty wet Senior Day thanks to Hurricane Ian.  We're excited to have a great finish to our 2022 season for these wonderful players.

Best Start in Program History!

At 8-0, our current 2022 team has had the best start in FSUWS History and earned a National Ranking! We are #23 in the United Soccer Coaches D2 poll and #3 in the Atlantic Region.  We have a terrific talented group that has also learned to be resilient.  We've been down 0-1 and came back to win 2-1 then went down 0-2 and scored 4 unanswered to win 4-2 in our last game.  We're growing and learning lessons and realizing we can win games in any 1 of the 90 minutes. 

Terrific Regular Season Continues...

A couple tougher conference games this week but we got the results we needed to stay atop the MEC North standings and remain undefeated.  The United Soccer Coaches poll has us at Atlantic Region #3...

2 big games this week and another FSUWS players named player of the week!  This time our outstanding goalkeeper, Ashley Bilger, was the MEC Defensive Player of the Week!

Great Start to Conference Play

We've scored 8 goals in our first 2 MEC games and allowed zero!  An awesome start to our conference season.  It's been great to rotate players and use our entire roster and we've had some impressive performances.  Hoping to keep our focus on each day and each game and learn to have a consistent performance level as we progress through a tough regular season.

The 2022 Season has Launched!

Just a great result to start our season at the MD Soccerplex stadium on Friday.    To be expected, the game was frantic at the start for both teams.   As our players started to keep the ball and use spaces smartly, we got several good chances and scored twice in each half.   A big save early by Ashley Bilger set the stage for our offense and we were fortunate to have 4 different players score goals.  The shutout is always our objective and we put up a good defensive performance. 

A Great Preseason

We've had a great but long preseason!  We've explored Western Maryland a bit and have come together as a team.   We'll open our regular season at the MD Soccerplex Stadium and we are all excited of course.  This is a special group than could do some special things this year.

Fall 2022 Plans!

We'll open our Fall schedule at the MD Soccerplex on August 26th before a trip to New Jersey.  The defense of our MEC North Division Title begins Sept 7th at home.

A Great Spring Season!

Our players had an awesome Spring! Our first 'normal' Spring season since moving up to Division 2. We got to play some really competitive games in a full semester of the expanded training model we really love about the D2 change. Our team was also studying hard of course and doing things like going to campus shows and plays and being great teammate.

 

Real Spring Games!

A big change our players have really enjoyed since moving to Division 2 is playing more real Spring season games!  We're allowed 5 of them now and are excited to play some teams we would not ever face now in the Fall.  We'll play teams from each of the 3 NCAA Divisions.  Here's our Spring Schedule:
